Coded Welding

At O.J. Fabrications our aim is to supply a service that is tailored to your needs. Below is a list of our current codings - we are also happy to discuss specific contracts that may require specialist procedures/codings.

• Current codings available
  (ASME IX and BS EN ISO.15614/287):
  •  
  • 6G MMA cellulosic root, rutile fill and cap in dia. 100mm NB, 8.5mm WT
  • Range of approval 4 to 17mm , dia. 50mm to unlimited in all positions on plate and pipe
  •  
  • 6G MMA low hydrogen in dia. 200mm NB, 12.5mm WT
  • 6G MMA low hydrogen in dia. 50mm NB, 5.5mm WT
  • These two approvals provide an extensive range on plate and pipe, butt welds and fillet welds from 2mm to 25.4mm in thickness and from dia. 25mm to unlimited pipe diameter in any position
  •  
  • 3G MAG in 15mm plate
  •  
  • 4G MAG/FCAW in 15mm plate solid wire root and FCAW fill and cap
  • 4F FCAW in 15mm plate
  • These two approvals provide butt welds and fillet welds on plate from 7.5mm to 30mm in any position on plate and on pipe where the diameter is greater than 500mm
